Using a variety of methods, the shamanic coach and client will obtain help and advice from the Spirit World using Shamanic techniques such as trance work and Journeying, or using various rituals, ceremonies or techniques to help the individual. Counselling sessions take a variety of forms, but is used to help an individual with their problems, whether they may be mental or physical illness, addiction, or life force imbalances.
Is a technique used to cut away, break away and release karmic attachments, either inappropriate behaviour or relationships that have had an impact in a person’s life. These attachments keep a person operating inside a box of limitations or within a patterned reaction to another. For example, stopping smoking and looking at the root cause of the problem, or reacting/acting in a particular way to another person. To enable the individual to move forward, this technique cuts the energetic link to a former partner/home/ job etc. Cutting the energetic link frees the individual to conquer their addiction on a physical level. This enables the person to move forward in life making new, appropriate and healthy connections. Once the attachment is severed the person can see beyond the pattern to a new way of being and interacting, and can change karma into dharma. Karmic attachments create patterns and actions that cause a person to stop their natural way of communicating and acting, thus maintaining the pattern.
This technique is used with the shamanic coach to help the individual for the following:
• Used for self-sabotaging behaviours
• Used when a person feels hopeless about healing an event that happened
• Used to stop a painful event from continuously being re-triggered
• Used for self forgiveness work
• Used for incessant internal dialogue or to untangle pre-patterned internal dialogue
The assemblage point of humans is located in the centre of the chest about two inches above the line of the nipples. This is where we see, sense and assemble our reality. Balanced feelings, reason, mind and will are considered perceptions of reality from a balanced frame of reference. However, as we develop into adults and experience pain, suffering, shock, trauma, or sickness, the assemblage point becomes fixed rather than fluid. As the point moves further away from the centre circle of assemblage, the more distorted and unbalanced reality we perceive. When unbalanced, we experience energies such as panic, anxiety, anger, fatigue, distortion, or even apathy, to name a few. As a shamanic coach, shifting people back into the centre circle of awareness is crucial to regain the ability to assemble a reality that is balanced. The assemblage point is moved by using a shifting crystal wand, and often stabilized by using a set of graduated crystals.
This therapy is done with the use of graduated crystal sets. Crystals are used on the physical body and within the body to balance, charge, and discharge energies within and around the human body and the auric field. Various therapies would include expanding or contracting the auric field, re-firing the auric field, charging or discharging the chakras, or balancing. This type of therapy can be used to help with:
• when a person just doesn’t feel “right”
• when a person feels low in energy, especially after somebody has become ill or consistently low energy
• to move stuck or unmoving energy
• when somebody has a feeling of being disconnected or separate, or a lack of physical co-ordination
• when a person feel like they have taken on other peoples’ emotions or feel vulnerable and exposed
• used for greater impact and connection with others or for psychic/spiritual work
• when somebody experienced a serious illness, trauma or shock, and doesn’t feel they have “come back” from it
The spirit journey is earthy & born from ancient traditions, and a time-honoured shamanic method of inner consultation, an ancient practice of meditation and finding answers. It is a way of communicating with your inner or spirit self and retrieving information; where you can connect with your highest self and your guides. It can feel more powerful than just a normal meditation because it is a journey - you feel yourself move into it, and back, and often get lessons or visions during it. Your inner self is in constant communication with all aspects of your environment, seen and unseen. You need only journey within to find answers to your questions. It can feel like a light trance - one that you are totally conscious in. The shamanic coach will guide the individual on their journey using a drum to visit the Spirit World for information, healing or to find the answers to the persons question. One can meet their own Spirit Guide, find their Power Animal and discover the God or Goddess within.
Ceremonies to celebrate the milestones of life such as rites of passage, marriage, birth and death is a ritual event that marks a person's progress from one stage to another. Our basic human nature yearns for rites of passage, to be initiated into a group, to be recognized, to be accepted for whom we are, and to celebrate the individual and honour their growth. Honouring these important milestones of human development with ceremonies helps us to stay in touch with our own natural cycles, to align with the natural world around us and provide the essential context and energetic "boost" from one phase of life to the next.
Ceremonies would include:
Birth/pregnancy:
- Bringing down the moon – a personal ceremony for a woman to prepare her womb space for conception and to ready herself for the powerful transformation her body will undergo so that the experience is one of power and beauty
